Hi botanists and flower folk,
Wow — 30 days goes really fast! We can't believe how many supported this campaign (over 6,000, unbelievable), and we're so excited that you've helped us make Bloomchasers happen.
We're already deep in conversation with our manufacturing partner, and here's what we'll need from you next:
- You'll be receiving an email from "BackerKit", our pledge manager, in about 2-3 weeks. You'll input all your shipping info in there!
- This BackerKit email will go to the email address on your Kickstarter account! For many, that's defaulted to your AppleID, which you might not be checking — so we recommend you update this to your primary email address.
- You'll be able to upgrade your pledge if you like! If you're a US-backer, you'll be able to add on our previous games to your order, too. (So sorry we aren't able to offer this for non-US backers; the logistics don't work out!)
On top of that, we've got a special surprise for y'all! To celebrate the success of this campaign, we've partnered up with Plant with Purpose to plant a new tree in the Dominican Republic for every backer in this campaign! They're an awesome reforestation non-profit and we're super excited to work with them. (To be clear: no Kickstarter funds raised are part of this donation; this is something we're just doing to give back and say thanks!)
We're so, so grateful to each of you for helping us make this wild concept into reality, and we'll be keeping you posted with transparent updates and progress during the entire manufacturing process.

A sunny morning to you, fellow photosynthesizers!
We had so, so much fun reading the clever, hilarious, and sometimes surprisingly poignant Bloomchasers Haikus you submitted! We had nearly 200 people submit poems — amazing!
We wish we could choose them all as winners, but much like Bloomchasers, only the strongest prevail! (Unless you're playing co-op mode, then you all build a happy little tree together, of course.)
Our ten favorites are below — if you wrote one of these, look out for a message from us in the coming days about getting your prize sent your way!
Also, after long last, check out this full-length playthrough video our amazing Social Media Director Amanda put together! (Do note: these are still prototype, 3D-printed components.)

Good morning, future Bloomchasers!
Waking up each morning to see the enthusiasm and new pledges for this campaign is so exciting — feels just like sunlight on our leaves!
Speaking of trees: we're hosting a Bloomchasers haiku poem contest, and will send a secret tree-themed prize to our ten favorites! Here's how to enter:
1. Write a haiku about this game, and post it as a comment
2. That's it
Your haikus can be funny, poetic, or surprising — we'll pick our favorites next week, and ship prizes to the ten winners! Here's an example haiku:
A peaceful tree sprouts
But I thirst for victory

Wow — Bloomchasers blew past our funding goal to become our most-funded Day 1 Kickstarter ever, all thanks to you!
